2016 UCLA Global Forum in Geneva, Switzerland:
Dinner and Discussion with Dean Jody Heymann

Dean of the Fielding School of Public Health, Jody Heymann, spoke at UCLA's first Global Forum in Switzerland. The Forum provided a unique opportunity to meet other Bruins in Switzerland over dinner in a private dining room at the Perle du Lac in Geneva which overlooks beautiful Lake Leman. Dean Heymann, a world-renowned policy expert in the arena of public health, led a discussion on what it will take to meet the UN's new sustainable development goals.

Whilst in Geneva Dean Heymann also spoke at the International Labour Organization and UNAIDS.

Jody Heymann, MD, PhD is the Dean of the UCLA Fielding School of Public Health and Founding Director of the WORLD Policy Analysis Center. An unprecedented effort to improve the level and quality of comparative policy data available to policymakers, researchers and the public, WORLD examines health and social policies and outcomes in all 193 UN countries.

Dr. Heymann has received numerous honors and has worked with a wide range of intergovernmental organizations including the World Health Organization, the International Labor Organization, the World Economic Forum, UNICEF, and UNESCO.
