The translation includes unpublished oral histories from Haitians, all in the original Kreyòl. The Committee lauds how such effort adds a phenomenal multilingual dimension that advances equitable access to this important history and pushes back on recent attempts to further institutionalize anti-Haitian discrimination within the Dominican Republic."
