Could you speak about your career and how it has progressed since graduating from UCLA?

I started my post-MBA career with a climate fellowship at a commercial bank in New York City and then worked in a clean energy agency in the Bay Area for a year. Although my career in the US was relatively short, the work experience eventually brought me to a career in an international organization that I could have never imagined.

How did the coursework and research you did as a student at UCLA prepare you for an international career?

Taking the Leaders in Sustainability Certificate program at the IoES and sustainability classes at Anderson helped me build the foundation needed to pursue an international career in sustainability.

What sort of opportunities has working abroad presented you with?

Working abroad, especially for a multilateral development bank like ADB, has offered incredible opportunities for global networking and travels. I’ve met coworkers from over 20 countries and traveled to five countries across Asia and the Pacific within my first nine months at work.
