International study and research opportunities in public affairs at UCLA

The UCLA Luskin School of Public Affairs offers several opportunities for students interested in international study and scholarship.

Global Public Affairs (GPA) offers certificate and travel programs to master’s and Ph.D. students, including International Practice Pathways fellowships for summer study in low- and middle-income countries. GPA students are also encouraged to engage with youth-led initiatives around the world.

UCLA Luskin Urban Planning has launched a dual-degree program in partnership with Sciences Po, a top European research university. Graduate students spend a year in Los Angeles and a year in Paris, two vast laboratories for urban policies and politics, then emerge with a double degree in global and comparative urban planning and governance.

In addition to summer internships and workshops, UCLA Luskin Public Policy participates in international exchange programs with the Hertie School in Germany and the Graduate School of Public Policy at the University of Tokyo in Japan.
